Color Lab: Flesh Tones
Color is an indispensable tool for painters. Mastery of color unlocks freedom and control over one's ability to solve color problems.

East Boston's Museum of Realist Art Local Launch Event

While it's not officially open yet here in Boston, the Museum of Realist Art is having a Local Launch Event and Fundraiser in East Boston on June 25. You can view the invitation and respond if you would like to support them as they create the Museum. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres by KO at the Shipyard and cold beverages just a few feet from Boston Harbor.

The Mission of the Museum of Realist Art is to create a world-class cultural destination in the neighborhood of East Boston by exhibiting and collecting well-crafted painting, drawing, photography and sculpture with a specific focus on realist and narrative art. Their focus is on contemporary realism, illusionism, magic realism, surrealism and visionary realism.

We here at the Academy of Realist Art Boston are looking forward to having more amazing realist art in the area!
